DISCUSSION...
South winds may gust up to 30 miles an hour at times this
afternoon across parts of northeast Oklahoma.

Thunderstorms may develop towards evening across parts of Osage
county as a weak frontal boundary approaches from the north.
Storms are expected to increase in coverage this evening into the
overnight hours, especially near the Kansas border in the vicinity
of the stalling frontal boundary. A few of the storms may be
severe, especially this evening, with large hail and damaging
winds being the main threats. Locally heavy rainfall will also be
possible as storms may repeatedly train across the same areas.

Unsettled weather will prevail through the period with several
rounds of showers and thunderstorms expected. The greatest
coverage of storms will likely be Thursday into Thursday evening
as a cold front moves through the area and stalls near the Red
River.
